Texture loading problem.
It’s something relatively new that many of us experience. There have been many threads/posts about it, and a Dev response, if I am not mistaken. I think the Devs will address it as soon as possible.

sorry but english isnt my main language
Developers…ArenaNet.
I also have been had issues like that too since the last patch, that coincidently came out when I replaced my graphic card. My systems is like yours, only graphic card is different, it’s a GeForce GTX 650. But occasionally I have texture issues, like not loading at times, windows without a background, no ground or buildings around… I’m still trying to figure out what’s wrong and tweaking my settings to see if I can solve or lessen it.

yeah, its the same problem.
i tried low settings and it won’t solve the issue, since then I’ve knew something is wrong here, and then i posted this.
it could be a bug or a bad patch to the game, i hope anet will solve this.
I assume that way since more people experience this.
Lowering your settings won’t fix the issue. Be sure to have selected “Auto detect” in the Graphics Settings tab under Options. Then be sure to have ticked; “Effect LOD” and “Vertical Sync”.
I too notice that sometimes the ground in Lions Arch takes a few seconds to load, but that is because of the Snow texture they currently have for Wintersday. The only solution I found to this is to turn OFF reflections, worked for me.
