Guild Wars 2

I bought all 18 pieces of Charr heavy armor on my guardian and it counted them.
I bought T1 and T2 of Charr medium armor on my theif and the count did NOT move.
I bought T1 of Charr light armor on my Elementalist and the count did NOT move.

I should have 36 pieces but the achievement only says I have 18.

Only 18 pieces per culture. If you want to raise the count, purchase from another culture, such as Asura, Human, Sylvari or Norn.

18 × 5 = 90 total need for the Achievement

From the Wiki: Maximizing each title requires purchasing six cultural armor pieces for Tier 1, 2, and 3, which costs 128 Gold coin 98 Silver coin or 644 Gold coin 90 Silver coin for all five races, which will also complete the meta achievement.

Its the point of this achievement. Collecting various cultural armors, not just Charr armor.
