Wintersday: Snowball Mayhem: The “Gift Stopper” achievement.

IT’S BROKE, FIX IT!!!
I’ve nailed a ton of people and I’m still not getting credit. It doesn’t matter if I kill them dead and actually recover the gift or if I use the support role and just make them slip and drop it. IT DOES NOT WORK!!! I’ve been stuck on 3/5 and playing for 2-3 hours.

Also:
– Sometimes when a match starts it randomly switches what role I’ve chosen to something else. It’s not happening every time but enough to be annoying.

- I’ve noticed a couple times when the teams are uneven and being “auto-balanced” the game throws too many players to one side and creates an overbalance on the team that had too few players, then it’ll “auto-balance” itself again and throw players back to the other team, then everyone quits and goes home because they’re sick of the stupidity.

To get Gift Stopper you need to be the one that downs the person carrying the gift, i.e you do the last hit before the carrier gets downed. Easiest to do with the scout class, but your mileage may vary. This is really silly imo but the only way to get it atm.

I’ve noticed the role switching too, would be happy if they fixed it.

I’ve taken down people solo and get nothing for it. This event, like the last one and everything else in this game, is full of bugs. In general I wasn’t complaining at first because I had suffered through the mess that was the SW:TOR launch so I know how bad things can get, but it’s been too long since this game came out and it’s been nothing but constant and consistent bugs. Seems like ANET has adopted a Bioware-like incompetence. I’m just glad we don’t have to pay fees for this game.
