I don’t know if there is another way to reach the Hero Challenge to the west of the great tree, but from a video guide I watched it appears as if you have to climb these mushrooms to reach the top.
However, it’s impossible to jump up onto the last mushroom above me, and due to my latency being around 200, I cannot open my glider fast enough to glide to the lowest mushroom on the opposite side like I’ve seen some people do. Is this intended? Because I can’t find another way up unless I wait for a mesmer who can make the glide across to port me. It seems as if I won’t be able to reach this hero challenge, but I don’t know if this is intended or not.
