Guild Wars 2

Ever since the Wintersday patch I’ve been effectively locked out of any toon I have that’s parked in The Grove. I took my Sylvari from DR to The Grove to go do the Orphan’s Letter instance and the game stopped on the loading screen, though the map sounds were playing. My game crashed so I had to restart and I tried to log back into her only to have it freeze up again.

I’ve logged over to the other toons I have parked there and it’s the same thing. I can access any other toon but those in The Grove.

Try guesting to another server and then logging onto that character.

This craziness has worked for me in the past when encountering a similar issue.

I also tried the two solutions in this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Character-stuck-in-Caledon-forest/first#post3908674 and nothing worked. I’ll just have to see if the support ticket gets addressed.
