Guild Wars 2

So I’ve been trying to get the Aerated Ooze for a while now. I looked up to see where people were jumping and found:

Dry Dock Grotto in Silverwastes as a good place. I’ve fallen off here for more than 10 seconds WITHOUT gliding multiple times.

I also tried in Verdant Brink going upward to 14 seconds in places. I cannot get this. I even used the Mystic Chromatic Ooze buff timer to time myself.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong… but i’ve tried this for more than half an hour with no success.

I got this by jumping down somewhere in Verdant Brink. Verdant Brink has the highest fall times of the game.

Yup, I did this multiple times at the NW area. I tried a few times from the Wyvern Patriarch after I posted this just falling and not touching my keyboard (20 seconds).

It just won’t trigger for me. Perhaps it was broken recently? The only thing I can think of is with the introduction of gliding they could have messed with what they consider “fall”. I don’t activate gliding for all my runs.

when i tried for mine i naturally went to verdant brink. i definately fell for more than the time needed as i was using the nighttime timer to judge, but trying 3 times didnt work so i assumed it was something to do with gliding bugging it out.

instead i went to rata sum, entered the arcance council instance and jumped from the corner. you need to do a bit of maneuvering to avoid a bridge, but you can quite easily fall all the way to the bottom. it wasnt an issue for me because this was before gliding in core tyria, but as it is an instance gliding is disabled so shouldn’t interfere

I did this collection this week, so there was no patch which could have broke it.

I tried this literally everywhere with no success, until I read the post about the arcane council above.

It took a good 3 or 4 times of crash landing in the pit, but it DID pop.

So broken.

This worked! Just like the poster above, I had to do it a few times for it to trigger. This definitely is broken.

Still broken, 10sec in mount maelstrom wasn’t enough, like 30sec in bloodstone fen wasn’t enough.

Took ~15sec in arcane council.

I think it may have something to do with gliding being present but some people say verdant brink works so I don’t know.
