Of course not (right?) but still. It’s a bit frustrating waiting around for this meta to start. I’ve waited for a 9 hour block and a 6 hour block, afternoon to midnight PST of just idling around Song of Final Exile, Snowden Drifts with no sign of the meta event even attempting to start. Unless I just have horrendous timing or am just missing something.

The Hunter’s Bane is the last thing I need to finish collection I of Chuka and Champawat. While I’m glad that I didn’t start the collection with the initial release with all the bugs i’ve been hearing about in the collection through forum and reddit. This meta event seems to had completely evaporated from existence. The last i’ve heard about a fix to this meta event was an April update correcting/fixing the pathing issue for the Quaggan emissary to the Kodans.

Any help is appreciated or anyone who may be experiencing the same issue.

I’m in the same boat as you buddy. As far as I know it’s supposed to start by escorting a quaggan called Bleepbloop from a nearby PoI, but Bleepbloop has just disappeared every time I go check. Hopefully can be fixed soon!

Same here. I’ve spent hours trying to get this event. I’ve also tried logging on during different times of the day.

Been stuck on “The kodan are preparing for a tournament to choose a new Claw.” for at least the past few days.

Thanks anet… Put a legendary requirement on a non-spawn event line. Almost makes me have the 5% hope go away. Been playing since GW1 and this kind of shenanigans gets me every time… Can you please shape it up a little bit :/

It’s still getting stuck for hours on the tournament preparation. It is noted as a bug in the Official WIKI. It’s apparently taking months to fix this event, so please consider changing the legendary update to a different event that doesn’t get bugged. Not Ramsy either, please, that one has been bugged for years.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one to have problems with “The Kodan Claw” meta event.
I am disheartened to see that it has been going on for 5 months.
One of my guildies suggested that I go the immediately after program updates and maybe it will be working. Just passing that on.
I see Ramsy still down too. Interesting.

I JUST LUCKILY found it up on Yak’s Bend server. Just spawned about 10 seconds ago and killed it. Thank you anet <3

Still not working 5 months later

Will this event ever get fixed? I’ve waited for it at different times over the last week and it never starts!!! Please don’t link legendary journey requirements to broken events, just please… and please fix this!

Common advice is to contact support, explain the situation, and ask them if they can help. It’s reasonably frequent that they will simply send the required item.

(and yes, I agree it would be nice if the event wasn’t broken. when will MMO devs learn that all events should have a reset timer that just hard-resets them after three or four hours? I dream of the day.
