Guild Wars 2

I just had a great 30 minutes or so defeating the shadow of the dragon in the mystery cave. During the cinematic that plays after, my connection dropped out, and now it looks like I have to do The Mystery Cave event all over again. I really don’t want to have to do that.
What can I do to have my account / character bumped to the end of the cinematic sequence (although I’d like to see that again, with sound, if it has any, since it didnt play the first time around)?

As far as I know, there is no way to have your character ‘bumped ahead’. I am afraid you will have to re-do the instance.

Check your audio settings (in-game and out) and make sure they align with whatever device you are using for sound (speaker configuration, headphones, etc.).

You can talk to Vigil Warmaster Wylliam at the entrance of Silverwastes to reward the cinematics(slightly buggy though? doesn’t work reliably for me). You are also forced to watch the pact assault cinematics each time you complete that instance anyway. It is unskippable.
