I have a Carrion Tribal Pistol of Rage and I was very excited as this is by far the most expensive drop I have ever received however when I went to the trading post to sell it, it does not appear in my list and nor do I have to option when right clicking to sell it or even mail it to anyone.

The pistol certainly is not soulbound as I am on my ranger, not to mention it still reads, “Souldbound on use”.

This is both really frustrating and really intriguing for me; at the very least I want to know why I cannot sell it. I have asked many of my friends and now I ask all of you. Any ideas?

NB: Sorry if it is something simple.

It could be “Account bound”. If it dropped from a chest in a fractal, this will be the case. It will also say “Soulbound on use” underneath is.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I got this for completing a map but I also got another exotic which sold without hitch on the trading post.

Did it get put into an “invisible bag” or “safebox”?
Items in there cannot be sold on the TP until you move them to another slot in a non invisible bag.

No. I tried all different bags including just my starter backpack. Thank you for your replies though.

Does it have a value listed at the bottom of the tooltip? I find that’s an indicator of whether it can be sold or not.

you can not sell items you received as a reward for map completion or story mission.

Story rewards you can’t sell, map rewards you certainly can. If it was soulbound or account bound it would say that not “soulbound on use.” I would try moving it to your bank, then back to your storage? If nothing else, you can try to salvage it for ecto/sigils.

Tried that. Even tried taking it out on another character to sell it but it was not having that. :/

Definitely sounds like a bug then.
