I have opened the first achievement chest that had in the 1% magic find buff, but that buff is not working, see screens:

The first chest that you get is the 100 point chest, which has usable buffs but no account-wide buffs. You will get another chest every day until you are caught up. So, tomorrow you will get the 500 point chest, which will have the 1% magic find account-wide boost. The next day you will get the 1,000 point chest, and so-on, until you are caught up.

I was confused by this at first as well and wondering where my bonus was. The chests that appear at the top of the new achievement window show the “next” reward. You already received the 100 point chest, so it no longer appears in the list of rewards. Tomorrow when you log in to get your 500 point chest, it will also disappear from the top of the window.

They could have put this in the notes it would have saved on the confusion.

however there are bugs with the achievements displayed. They aren’t showing anything anywhere near the number of salvages I’ve had over the past year which has definitely NOT been 43 I recall reading about retroing rewards when they released this patch, and some other ones aren’t displaying what I’ve done properly at all, like the miniatures, I have 3 it shows 0.

Have you used the miniatures?

Are you sure the salvage achievement isn’t Agent of Entropy, the repeatable achievement that gives you +2 achievement points for every 200 items salvaged? It does clearly show “infinite” and “you have completed this achievement X times”.
