Guild Wars 2

I’ve been in 2 The Shatterer kills by now and none of them has yielded any participation.
In each attempt I wen’t full on from start to finish. Throwing everything at it and its minions. Zero participation gained whatsoever, no experience, no loot, no karma, NADA.

What is up with this?
I’m playing as a pistol/pistol engineer and I use the rifle,flame and rocket turret along with the ultimate supply drop on the fight.

Some claim that I’m not doing enough damage, but that can’t be the cause. When I’m out soloing, I kill the level 50 mobs in the surrounding area in less than 5secs.

Is there a bug pertaining conditions not counting towards participation on boss fights?

I also do damage, and hit with all I got, and in the END, not even an Medal, NOTHING.

Is the players fault if there is too much people in the area for event just do medals for who did more damage?

I can’t get it.
