The word "shy" can get censored
There are a bunch of filters that are designed to prevent common work-arounds to avoid obvious filters. In this case, the letter combinations would be
- ess aich why tea
(if you spell it out, I hope it’s obvious why that letter combination would be part of the filter)
No forum filter is going to good enough to avoid false positives and yet catch all the things the moderators would want filtered.
Regardless, the current filter — poor as it is — is the one we have. It’s not that hard to find ways to work around it, so you can be shy about anything you want.
John Smith: “you should kill monsters, because killing monsters is awesome.”
What happens is the filter “ignores” white spaces between words as they can be used as workaround to bypass the filter, it also happens with some punctuation. If you take off the white space and replace 3rd character for one with similar sound, you will clear see why the filter masked it. :P
