When thief uses Black Powder right after using Basilisk Venom, the Black Powder skill takes two charges of Basilisk Venom in a single blow. Since Black Powder is single attack with combo field, I believe it should not take two charges of venom but only one.

Are the enemy standing in the field it lays down? If so you are hitting them twice with two attacks at the same time. It’s been that way for all venoms from the get go.

What do you mean you are hitting them twice? You shot one bullet and create a smoke field. You don’t shot twice regardless a person is right in front of the field or in distance. Creating a smoke field does no damage at all, it shouldn’t even consider to be an attack. If so, then shadow refuge should also consider to be an attack since you are creating a dark field. It should consume the one charge of venom.
