if you are using the skill 2 of the staff (weakening charge) a while in combat, the special dodge trait (no matter which one of the 3 is selected) will be only a normal dodgeroll in animation and traveld distance.
selecting another dodge trait when this happen will fix this bug.
dont know if other skills also produce this bug but with staff skill 2 i could produce it several times.
EDIT: i managed to reproduce it only by using autohits on staff but only once
