Profession: Thief
Trait Line: Deadly Arts
Trait: Deadly Trapper
Bug: Does not work correctly with Ambush and Shadow Trap. (does not give might. Didn’t pay attention to the Vulnerability.

I double checked this and and neither give the 5 stacks of Might from Deadly Trapper. Ambush Trap doesn’t give the 5 stacks of Vulnerability but Shadow Trap does on the triggering of Shadow Pursuit. Also Shadow Trap show 8 stacks of Vulnerability for 5 seconds in the Shadow Trap part with or without Deadly Trapper but with Deadly Trapper it shows 5 stacks of Vulnerability for 8 seconds in the Shadow Pursuit display as well.

I also created another report here for the Shadow Trap because i remember Shadow Pursuit showing 15 might stacks in the tool tip while it only gave 10.

I am still sad that they reduced the poison damage increase from the grandmaster trait from 50% to 10%

But will be interesting to see how well the traps will work if they are fixed. can stack a significant amount of might and vulnerability for bursting. To bad we cant apply burning for even faster condi burst…

Ambush inflicts invulnerabilty, no might gain.
Shadow Trap inflicts invulnerabilty and gives might not on setting down the trap, but on activting the shadow step after someone stepped on it. BUT it gives you 10 stacks of might instead of 5.
The other two traps work correctly with Deadly Trapper.

I was about to start a topic considering that bug. I can confirm that the trait Deadly Trapper doesn’t work correctly.

Ambush – doesn’t work at all, not giving any Might, not applying any Vulnerability.

Shadow Trap – doesn’t work as intended, not giving any Might (only base 10 stacks from the trap itself, as if not traited – with trait it should give 15 (10 for 10s, 5 for 8s)), but applying 5 stacks of Vulnerability.

Tripwire – it works correctly, giving 5 stacks of Might and applying 5 stacks of Vulnerability.

Needle Trap – it works correctly, giving 5 stacks of Might and applying 5 stacks of Vulnerability.

Additional note: Not-traited Shadow Trap has a skillfact saying it applies 8 stacks of Vulnerability for 5 seconds. It does not apply any Vulnerability. Shadow Trap traited with Deadly Trapper still has a skillfact about 8 stacks of Vulnerability for 5 seconds AND 5 stacks of Vulnerability for 8 seconds from the trait. Only the trait’s Vulnerability applies.
