Thief's bug exploit. Fix Needed
“Mimimimimimi, I’m bad, thief kill me, nerf them.”
Thief must of CnD your downed body and began to Stomp sure its hard to counter and is there specialty in stomping just like the rangers on Demand Quickness stomp. of course if they really want you dead they could Haste CnD Stomp. Stealth is a feature and primary class mechanic of the thief its not exploit to use it to your advantage.
and if you have culling issues which is a problematic part of WvW, I suggest having a buttun set to target nearest when your fighting a thief. the red circle helps a little to know when he’s not stealthed.

for you guys missing the point, thieves can stay permanently stealthed. its not an “L2P” issue, they can just do it. and roam around stomping people as long as they don’t swing their weapon. normally they would have zero combat potential, but with the downed system they’re an almost guaranteed stomp because you never know where they are….
The perma stealth is way too OP, at the very most they should be allowed to stealth for maybe 3 seconds and have a decent cool down, not be able to pop stealth every 2 secs and then have skills to kite away very easily.
This is not a broken mechanic, its a broken class.
only reason they can so perma stealth is beacause they don’t hit you form stealth, thyey wait till stealth wears off lay into u, go stealth move around in stealth wail on you when it wears off, and if we use back stab, Tactical strike or any of our suprise attacks there is a little debuff called “Revealed” http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Stealth
so instead of congratulating good thief’s, u call nerf nerf nerf because you are not skilled enough to counter them
