Guild Wars 2

I am constantly hit during my staff 5 vault that says 1/2 seconds evade.

Since this is in PvE I can’t tell if I’m only being hit by ‘unblockable’ attacks.

You only evade for the 1/2 second that your character rises into the air, the landing is not covered by the evade portion.

Unblockable skills can be evaded by dodging or other effects, aside from the ones that cannot be evaded by any means. (usually pve special circumstances, Giganticus Lupicus’ grub for instance is entirely unavoidable)
