I didn’t get my gift from tixx either and he just told me to check the chest…but no i couldn’t to that either for some weird reason…help!

Out of curiosity, can you tell us the reason the back item is one per account? That seems a step backwards from the ability to get one per character during Halloween (and that one we had to actually “work” for). I can see the reason the 15 slot bag is, but I just can’t figure out why the back item is. Thanks

(Is it possible for you guys to split that somehow, so us with several alts can get it on multiple characters?)

I have the same problem, talked to Tixx and didn’t get anything, nothing from the chest either. I was in the overflow when it happened.

This happened to me as well.

I talked to him once and received nothing. The chest is unusable.

My experrience, i was in HEART OF THE MISTS. after leaving a Spvp i noticed Tixx, i talked to him. Didn’t get anything altough i had enough bag space. (i couldn’t find the chest). Travelled to LA and noticed that the chest was open. (overflow). This made me travel back to HART OF THE MISTS, where i found the chest and was able to open it. I got the pvp chest but the pve chest = alreaddy opened. i can’t take that. Wich is totally unfair cause people are not aware of this. Heart of the mists TIXX gives 6 special finishers (for 30 mins)…so who cares. and a pvp back. PVE TIXX gives 200 cogs + 3 skins Back + a 15 slot bag. Why Tixx in LA gives a 15 slot bag and pvp Tixx not? I don’t even want the PvP one if that makes me miss out the PVE tixx back item / 15 slot bag.

I would like to report that I’ve also didn’t get anything from Tixx, chest wasn’t lootable and he is now refusing to give any present.

That being the case, will players who couldn’t get the present because the NPC never gave it+chest already seemed to be open? be given the present via mail like the karka chest was?

I talked to Tixx in Lions Arch Overflow and sadly I never received any present. The chest was open but it did not let me loot it or anything. I went back and spoke with Tixx and it said that I already got the present.

I have had the same problem, went to Tixx in Lions Arch Overflow, got no present and the chest was already open.

Went into Lion’s Arch to do some crafting and saw Tixx was there and decided to talk to him said he had a gift and chose the dialog box that would present it to me but nothing happened and the chest wouldn’t let me activate it. As it turns out I’m not the only that this has happened to. Anything I can do or am I just out of luck?

You are just out of luck. Relogging and waiting to get into LA proper (not overflow) worked for some, but most of us have to rely on the devs finding a solution.

Same here, clicked Tixx (in overflow), got told that I’d been given something, but nothing in inventory (and plenty of space for it). Chest can’t be interacted with either

I just hopped on my own character on Live, went to LA (an overflow, of course) and was able to get the item. So we’re still investigating!

When I talk to him I had already gotten the heart of the mist one so I can’t get the LA one. My guess is it’s either or. I wish there had been a warning about that. I would have preferred PvE stuff over PvP.
(didn’t know he was in LA yet either so I talked to him cause he was there)

I also received NO Gift from Tixx in LA. I clicked on him, selected the dialog that (presumably) would trigger the giving of the gift, I heard the sound effect of a chest being opened, but no gift was found in my bags and I could not interact with the chest next to Tixx. Talking to Tixx again just returns the dialog that only one gift per person is given. (yet no gift was actually given).

I have tied logging in a different character, logging back in with my original character, and waited till I was moved out of Overflow. At no time did Tixx’s gift appear in my bag nor the chest become lootable.

In addition, I haven’t been in the Mist since the Wintersday started so I didn’t get that gift (didn’t even know gifts were handed out there)

Can you find out whether people who got the PvP rewards should still be able to get the PvE rewards?

I got nothing too two times i asked for it and i got squat! imo that’s a subtle way of getting back at the QQing player base from some devs :p. Also, it seems that if you complete any stage (or even the jumping puzzle for that matter) in the morning, and then upon moving the location (thus another stage), you also get no lewt drop. This happened to me and an IRL m8 at the exact same time. Every time we followed the above pattern, we missed the chest loot.

I was in overflow, talked to him and didnt get any items. my bags were near empty.

Also had the problem of not getting a gift. I had spoke with tixx before the characters (pc’s and npc’s) had loaded on my screen. I did not see a chest at the time and had switched from the overflow. After the main LA map had loaded I spoke to him again to see if there was an option I had missed to get the gift and he told me one gift only. I checked the chest since I could see it then and was not able to get anything form it. It had appeared open and there was not an option to loot available. The only chests I had looted from since the last daily reset were in the tixx dungeons from running some guild mates through the ones they missed the days prior.

I went to lions arch and talked to tixx, in the overflow, and was about to click the “ill take it” option to get the chest and the exit overflow box appeared so i traveled and tried to get the box out of overflow and the chest is there but i cant interact with it. i exited the client and re-logged to see if it was in my inventory, making sure it wasn’t just lagging out. unfortunately no presents for me.

Just logged on from work, spoke to Tixx in overflow and appear to be getting the same issue as lots of other people, no gifts, and didnt spot that there was a chest. Partner logged in spoke to tixx and got items from the chest without issue.

Therefore i see an apparent bug with tixx at this time

Update: Logged in again, and tried to open the chest in the Heart of the Mists.
Got 6 finishers and a PvP Backback item that apparently doesn’t serve any function whatsoever (No stats, no appearance).

So, if you say “It’s once, period, per account.”, that means I’m simply screwed if I want the inventory bag?

Will the people who didnt get the gift becuase it bugged be able to get it?

Same problem as the rest here. Logged in and went to LA, got sent to overflow, talked to tixx, didn’t get my presents The chest is open and unusable; even on the not-overflow server. Hope we will be able to get the gifts some way, ’cause i was looking forward to making my griffon :/

Can you try this: Talk to Tixx and after u finish talking, teleport somewhere else. Then come back and chest should be opened without you touching it.

This is what happened to me. I talked with Tixx, enter dungeon without noticing chest, then when I got back from dungeon chest was opened and I didn’t receive gifts.

Same problem. I talked to Tixx but got nothing. Got achivment and nothing more. The chest is uneable to use – just open. What is important ! – After i spoke with tixx i reloged becouse my graphic card send me an error and then i try to get my award from chest – like i wrote – the chest was opened and uneable to use.

Same thing here. Logged in, went to LA and was put in the overflow. Talked to Tixx and asked for the present now it says he gave me the present but I never received anything.

Please help, Tixx did not give me a present for me.
I had one a Personalized Wintersday Gift received in Toypocalypse when I spoke to him. I did not have any other gift. Him chest is already open, But I did not got present

I was in LA overflow and talked to Tixx and no gift was put in my bag. I talk to him again and he says I have already gotten a gift. I check the chest next to him and I am unable to interact with the chest. I exited the game and logged back in and still have the same issue.

Today was the first day I have been able to log in during the event due to RL schedule…

And saw Tixx, talked to him (in LA overflow) and he said he gave me a present.. but he did not. My bags had plenty of room and the chest was unclickable. And he tells my alts that he already gave me a present.

I had the same problem. I talked to tixx and he did not give me the option to loot the chest but my dad and brother who were sitting right next to me on their characters were able to. I had inventory space and I have not received the gift on any of my characters

same issue as with me, im hoping its something good when its fixed =]

Same thing happened to me. Logged on an overflow. Talked to tixx. Received nothing. Checked the chest beside him and there was nothing there either. First time talking to tixx as well.

I talked to tixx, there was a chest but could not click on it or get anything out of it.

EDIT: Ummm, this looks like a simple Black Lion Chest which has little to do with the contents of Tixx’ present. Is that intentional?
EDIT2: Just checked. The contents of the chest are indeed standard Black Lion Chest stuff which is a bit of a letdown considering the original present to say the least.

Same thing happened to me. I tried the one at heart of mists and the chest is also opened and I still can’t get the items. Grrr………. BTW was in overflow

Just happened to my girlfriend too, she was in Lions Arch, NOT in an overflow.

By the way: what options does she have to choose to report it in-game? PVE?

Once per account… for both Lion’s Arch and Mists ? Or once for LA, once for Mists ?

Cause after your first say, i went to Mists to try. Tixx told me like the first time in Lion’s Arch, but after, no reward in the chest.
I’m not sure i clearly understood you. ^^’

But the real problem is i arrived on this post searching informations about another chest bug, the one in the Wintersday jumping. I did it 5 minutes after daily reset, as i already did another day… and got NOTHING in the chest… same bug as the Tixx’s chest or another ?

I tried to receive my gift from Tixx and he had the option to click “Receive Gift”. I clicked it and it closed out of Tixx chat box. I checked my bags and I had nothing but as I proceed to talk to him again he claims i’ve gotten a gift already. I do understand it’s 1/account and this is the first time i’ve talked to him on any toon at all. What should I do about this because I don’t want to be stuck with a Black Lion’s chest when my wife right next to me got a 15 slot toy bag and exotics. -_-

This was for the missing third item in BLCs a while back. Unrelated to this. Glad you got compensated! I haven’t opened BLCs since Lost Shores, so I didn’t have that issue.

Same here :c I clicked him, said I could pick it up from the chest but I can’t click the chest.

Same problem here.. If I remember correctly the only thing I might have gotten from the chest was like 1 Glittering Snowflake nothing else
