Are you sure that happened after the recent update?
At least the torch had this and the following bugs for quite some time now.
1) When adding characters (like spaces) after shift-linking the weapons i get chinese (?) ideographs and the weapons overwrite eachother if i link more than 1.
2) After posting it into chat, everything behind the weapon links (that i didn’t type manually) disappears and only the bug with the new line remains.
3) They save the characters you type behind them, e.g. you post ‘[Tormented Weapon ] aabbaaabbb’ and if you link any tormented weapon after, it will still have the aabbaaabbb behind it (you can only reset that if you restart client)
