Total Makeover Kit + Sylvari Glow = No show
Just wanted to point out that when I go to use the Total make over kit on my sylvari, when I try and change the glow, nothing shows up. I’ve tried toggling the lightning, all it does is darken it, the glow doesn’t show. I’ve fiddled with the glow intensity and still nothing.
I’m happy I had an open character slot, got to go to character creation and look at the glows and how they affect each hairstyle, or I’d end up sending in a ticket asking for the gems back or waiting for a fix to use it.
Glad to see these finally hit the shelves of the BLTC, though. Now all we need is name changes!
Hey besides the glow, is everything else working?
I just did the total makeover on my Sylvari, and everything besides the glow seems to be working fine.
I’m not a fan of the tiny makeover screen, though. It makes it hard to see the details you change with the sliders.

Hey I found a way to get around this for now — if you physically move your character to a location where they are -currently- glowing, and then activate the makeover kit, you’ll find that you can see the glow in the kit screen.
PS I agree I’d love to have the full screen makeover. =)

I love the idea of the makeover kit and I am sad about this issue. Boo! I ran into the problem of not being able to see the glow and ended up with an unexpected color. I submitted a ticket asking for a refund for gems.
I had that too. Kind of annoying since the glow was the entire reason I got the makeover kit. I forgot to change it in character creation…
Well I can see I’m not the only one with this problem. Same thing happened to me, and switching my character to a dark place did not solve the issue. Please fix Arena Net!
