When you win a tournament, you get 200 rank and 200 glory.

While you do get the 200 rank, it doesn’t count towards your title achievements track (gladiator, marauder etc).

As such, you can reach rank 20, 30 etc and not be anywhere near getting a rank 20 or 30 title due to the 200 rank you get from winning tournaments not applying to the achievement.

Bug. An I already have been wondering why I’m almost 20 and still far away from the 2nd title and wondering because I thought titles also came every 10 ranks.

Please fix it, ArenaNet.

Bumped. By keeping it the way it is it is a punishment for playing tpvp.

Yeah this is absolutely ridiculous. I hope if this is fix they retroactively upgrade everyone based on total amount of matches won.

Wow you know what, I didn’t notice this but it totally makes sense. I did tournies for like 5 hours on Sat. and since I was bunkering, I was barely getting many points per game but was relying on the 200 from wins. I noticed my rank bar didn’t move very much throughout the night despite us winning a good portion of games…

This is getting buried.

For clarity’s sake this is a Tournament PvP bug the “reward” for winning the match that is received after you’ve exited of 200 rank and glory points is not applied to your PvP Conqueror achievements at all.

Bump because this is annoying.

It also seems the account medal is related to this… a bit annoying. I just reached glory rank 20 and still only tier 6 of the Mercenary achievement at 29,798 points(which is a total of 61% of the whole achievement… still 39% missing to the title).

Account medal still is showing the deer icon and the bar seems to be at around 61% from the title.

Edit: I have also decided to report this ingame at sPvP→Tournament Rewards category of the bug reporter… might be easier to reach them that way. Too many other PvE stuff threads are spamming this forums and making this thread disappear on page 2+ fast.

I’ve reported the issue and a easily reproducible and identifiable exploit in bug reporter but the issues even are still there after a very long time.

I’m pretty sure that sPvP/tPvP bugs and exploits are very low on the priority list. 2nd/3rd class citizens around here after PvE/WvW

I just find it odd how the custom maps take priority above all that aside from an attention grab for something that still isn’t ready.

Would definitely like to see this be fixed. Seems like an easy fix.

Are you guy sure about this? Only though that it was the win bonus that didn’t count towards the achievement.
Nvm, just counted, makes perfect sense.

Because I have this issue for some time now.

I’ve got a vague respond from a GM about this issue.

I’ve got another respond for this issue… Here it is :

I understand that it can be frustrating not to see immediate results based on your in-game report. Keep in mind that even if we are able to verify a report made through the game it can take time to resolve the issue. The exact amount of time can vary wildly based on the severity and complexity of each issue.

It is important to remember that reports submitted in-game go directly to our QA team for investigation. All reports of this nature will need to be submitted in-game so that QA can attempt to verify and reproduce the issue.
