Hi, sorry if this has been answered before, I looked back a few pages and couldn’t find anything.

The Toxic Shoulder Pad skin looks amazing to me, however there is a scaling issue on male Sylvari. Apparently muscular builds cause it to scale at norn size. However I stood next to a guildy of mine, also male sylvari ranger…and his are normal size. So I was wondering if this is a bug unique to me, my body build or if I bought a heavy set instead somehow. Is there anything that could be done about this as far as I’m concerned or is it just a permanent problem.

Welcome to the wardrobe hell that is male sylvari.

This effect applies to pretty much anything the sylvari male wears.

And there is another where any “skirt” (trenchcoat tails included) will bellow out as if the sylvari male was wearing a classic ball gown.

Interesting that you have tracked it down to a specific body type tho.

I’m sorry for your misfortune, but when I saw that comparison picture I couldn’t stop laughing. That discrepancy is hilarious—how does that kind of thing go unnoticed in armor pre-production?

It’s a shame that Sylvari males have such trouble—I really love their voice and Sylvari in general are beautiful and fun to create, but I feel like trying to outfit one would drive me to the limits of my sanity.

Sorry to digress, but how did you get the shoulder pad? Was it from the gemstore?
