I bought four recipes to make the the endless toy tonics as part of this update, which was fine. I made them, fine and dandy etc.

However, when I went to combine them to try and make the endless toymakers tonic / gift dolyak tonic I simply got the tonic that I had not inserted to the mystic forge recipe (which I knew would be what would happen if I didn’t get what I had hoped for).

I went to make more, but only made another three tonics (in total I had four) and went to try again, but I was stopped by the fact that the result of my previous tonic wouldn’t go into the mystic forge with the rest.
Is this a bug? Or is it intended?

The recipe is working as intended. When you put it in you can get either the Gift Dolyak, the Toymaker, or most commonly, the tonic that you didn’t put into the forge. Its a RNG thing. Nothing to do but deal with it if you really want it. No idea what the percentages are though, and if you do decide to go for it, I’m sure a lot of people would appreciate it if you posted your trials on the wiki.
