Guild Wars 2

This is the waypoint in Lion’s Arch by the mystic forge. There are times when I will port there and cannot move at all. I have no choice but to use another waypoint in Lion’s Arch.

Yeah Iv’e had that quite a few time’s, trapped in the WP, not in Lions Arch though, and it cost’s me to get out of it, it’s ok to charge for WP’s, but not to charge if you get trapped by a game bug.

If you mean the kind of bug where your character isn’t even visible (either with or without your weapon floating in air), you’ll just need to wait a little longer for the game to catch up; that happens to me on a few LA points at times anyway. For some reason the loading screen goes away before it’s actually loaded or processed everything every now and then. (While this happens, you can actually move if you look at the minimap, it’s just that the camera refuses to budge until the character is fully loaded.)

If you mean the kind of bug where you get stuck in a sort of falling animation instead, haven’t had that ever in LA but a few times on other maps, and that’s particularly annoying indeed.

No none of those. I see my character as long as there are not a lot of others by me. Not stuck in any kind of animation just standing there. I have waited to see if I could move, but it never seems to fix. I have to wp to be able to move.

Edit to add- I have tried to wp to it again when I am stuck to try to reset it but that does not fix it. It has to be a new wp.

I have that happen every single time I wp there, and I’ve posted about this bug about 10 times now… and still Anet ignores me. If it happens again, then I’m done.

This bug tends to happen with any WP that has a lot of people around it. Strangely enough I’ve never ran into that problem for that particular WP even though I’ve gotten it at the Lowland Burns WP for The Shatterer.

I got stuck for a while after exiting WvW, using the Asura gate then I did a WP to Traders Forum and my character got there, but my camera was located in between the WvW gate and the WP, opening up the map pans camera to WvW gates.

And then after closing map it went normal, then LA had to load all models but that is a totally different story
