Trading Post Bug
Unfortunately it has been this way for a long time now.
Restarting the game will usually fix it (though you may have to restart a couple of times)
We need a button to refresh the trading post, rather than having to relog all the time.
This only happens to some people and it is almost always preventable by changing things on our end. Contact support — they are almost always able to help troubleshoot.
The trading post is a web-based app and like many such apps, it’s sensitive to various things running well with our own hardware and software. Here are some tweaks that have helped others:
- Restarting the router.
- Make sure hardware and software firewalls and other anti-malware tools aren’t blocking the “awesomonium_process.exe” that runs the TP.
- Make sure the router isn’t blocking ports used by the game.
- Ensure that you have admin rights to the folder to which GW2 is installed.
- Ensure that your root certificates are properly updated (or automatically updating).
