Guild Wars 2

Every time I try to open the auction house or the gem store I get an error. “net::ERR_FAILED” this has been happening to me for 2 days now and this is not happening to my buddies. I don’t understand what’s wrong. Help please.

Oh, and make sure no virus or malware programs are interfering with the TP program, Coherent.

This problem you’re experiencing might be caused by some corrupt client GW2 files on your PC. (I think this because the TP has been working fine for me and I’ve not heard others complaining about the TP in game with the same problem.) You can do a repair on your client files, which will hopefully fix the problem.

I found the steps on how to repair on the GW2 help page:

NOTE: the repair process can take 1/2 hour to an hour or so.

So I re-downloaded the whole game and it is still causing this error. I did a repair and it is still at error. Do you think it might be the items I’m selling that’s causing the lock up?

My tp has many problems if I have an internet browser running at the same time, turning that off it nearly always works. Also as one said it may be a firewall or antivirus problem blocking the connection of the tp, in that case the game should crash at least on my client when trying to close a broken tp. Anyway for future do not redownload the whole game, that only wastes time and most likely fails to solve anything.
