Trading Post Listings Inaccurate
from what I understand the first price it shows when you search, in your example of gold isn’t the price of the item, its the average of the buy and sell prices. so add every buy and sell listing together and devide by the number of listing will give you that number. then you click on it and it will show you lowest seller.

I can confirm this bug. Search for the Nomad recipes. They are listed as costing lots of gold, but when you click them, they actually cost a few silver. One is listed at 19 gold, but clicking it will show you can get it for 14 silver! The 19 gold price is further down the list for the recipe
For some reason it isn’t showing the lowest price for these recipes, but instead it is showing some of the highest prices
that one listed at 19g is what is causing the average to be a lot higher. which just proves what I previously posted. same with the light adventurers goggles from dry top, the reason the initial item price is 50g is because there is 1 of them listed at over 200g forcing the average to be way higher than it should be.

Nope, you are wrong. The listing doesn’t show the average price, it should show the lowest purchase price available. Always has as far as I know
Test it yourself, search for an item, a sword maybe. The listing will show the lowest price.
Then type ‘nomad’ in the search box and see the recipes. You will see they are all high priced. And to prove the bug, just click one. Say the 19 gold one. Click that and you will see the lowest price is now 10 silver. Then click go back to listing and hey presto, it’s now listed as 10 silver! But if you search again, the 19 gold price shows in the listing.
Oh, thank god I’m not going crazy. Boyfriend and I noticed this over the weekend but thought it might just be a momentary thing or an isolated incident.
It’d be nice if the TP could get some TLC in general but this should be priority number one atm.
