Since the support is ignoring me im gonna try my luck here. So 2 days ago i bought a precursor for 440g. After clearing my inventory the trading post showed that i sold my pre for 7 silver. Everyone knows that this isnt even possible cause u can only sell for the highest offer…i didntt even click on the pre to sell it. I know a few guys anet gave them back their gold. I mean its a bug and i want my gold back too. I got a screenshot aswell.
4 weeks of farming for nothing :/

you probably did a missclick and no you can’t only sell for the highest offer you can sell for the lowest value of that item which is like 2s 64c ? and as we can see you tried to sell your agony stuff for the same price of 7s 33c. anyway i hope anet can ‘fix’ it for you but i would not get my hopes up

i just pressed the sell button thats all…the trading post was laggy as hell aswell…on my screen i didnt even clicked the sell button for the pre…its hilarious…i dont find anymore motivation for this game if i lose gold like this which i played weeks for…i mean man i didnt even clicked it on my screen!

I think in that case, it would still sell the item for the highest bid price, and therefore for around 380 gold, not 7 silver.

yea ofc it would its just a lag/bug or whatever…anet cant ignore such things man. i want at least my gold back!

You can submit a request to the CS Team and ask for assistance. Be aware, there is a backlog of tickets, and it may be some time (weeks) before your issue is settled.

When someone posts an item for below the highest buyer, it goes to the highest buyer; the buyer gets back any gold left over after taking out the posted cost. So if the highest buyer had a listing for 300g7s, the buyer would get back 300g in a case like this.

The more tickets you put in, the longer it’ll take for you to get a response. Delete all of your excess tickets, and be patient. They have other tickets to handle, as well as yours.

Also, you DID click on it to sell it; if you hadn’t, it wouldn’t have been sold. It was clearly not what you intended to do, but it DID happen.

I’m confused a bit. Since when is a Chaos Pistol skin a precursor. Am I looking at the wrong thing? Or is the translation something different?

Never mind…I see it is a Chaos Gun, and as such a Precursor.

All you can do is wait for the CS Team to respond, which may be some time (weeks), as they are a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Technically it’s their gold they own the game and own your character. If you are giving them greif such as opening alot of tickets and just being rude then they have every right to not fix this issue for you.

I agree with other responses that you clicked sell. Maybe you had lag when it happened and you were clicking too fast which resulted in it selling for so cheap as you clicked sell but your screen hadn’t loaded the sell icon yet. Lag isn’t exactly Anets fault as it can be due to so many different things. Maybe it was on their end you’ll never know but regardless if you have lag and have something for that much gold in your inventory then you should be careful to take it slow.
