Trading Post not working
I had this issue for months on my computer, about 8months from launch. It’s been fixed for some time now, and whenever it seems to be happening it rights itself if I just go to the transactions tab and try to switch channel from the dropdown menu. If that doesn’t work, what usually worked for me was loading somewhere other than Lion’s Arch, as we suspected it might have something to do with the heavy population there. You could also check that your antivirus program and firewall are letting GW through properly.

In addition to ‘Running As Administrator’ helping with many issues, most TP issues are primarily related to some temporary GW2 files where removing them will allow them to be recreated and the TP to function properly again.
The quickest way to clear the GW2 Cache is to:
- Ensure your game is completely closed.
- Hold your “Windows Key” and press “F” to open Windows Search on your computer.
- Search for “gw2cache”
- It will find a folder called “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” at:
“C:\Users\YourComputerUserName\AppData\Local\Temp” - Delete this “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” folder that is shown in the results.
- Load up your game normally and your TP should now function properly.

Thanks for the suggestions. They sadly didn’t work but that is because I recently updated to windows 8.1 and it was having issues not only within GW2 but other programs as well, but I’ll keep these in mind if the problem persists after I fix the other issues.
Error: Authorisation denied on accessing trading post after Wvw. Exit game, restart, fine. Still a bug.
Finally figured it out. When I updated to 8.1 the windows update wasn’t grabbing all drivers. Simple solution is to check the box in the update window that says microsoft update. Once I did that I had more updates and solved my TP problem.
Keep in mind the TP in-game uses http to obtain information for display, so browser security settings can cause issues. Updating Windows can certainly effect security settings from what used to work fine for your connection.
