I tried buying things off the trading post but it just took my money and didnt give me an item. so i lost 5 gold thinking i would be getting the items that i wanted but got nothing… What do i do???

Nechoh are you sure you bought the item and not put in a buy request?
Check the different tabs to see you might have put in a buy offer and your money could just be reserved by the Auction house till a seller comes around and sells at that price.

I found out eventually you can pickup invisible goods and money you bought/earned during the buggy moments.
