So i had “Claws of Desert” drop in WvW.
I salvaged this weapon for the “Superiour rune of Battle” (About 6g).
After this i empty’d my baggs by selling everything at the trading post.
I just clicked and sell, next item clicked and sell, untill i came at the rune of battle.
Sold this at the price of 5,30gold, but it was not in my ‘pick up’.
While i was selling this: the price of the previous item was still up.
Rune dissapeared, and no gold.

I hope i explained it well. And i hope ArenaNet fixes this.

I have ran into it sometimes where I will try to sell something and it winds up somehow posting to Sell instead of instant sell… Sometimes even for quite a large difference than what I originally posted it as.

This is not a bug either because by “Match highest Buyer” you’re actually creating a listing to automatically process the buy order matching the unit price. It becomes a listing instead of an instant sale (partially or totally) if there are more units listed than ordered. This can also happen while someone else fulfilled the buy order.

Buy orders are nothing else than “buy the item automatically at that count with my provided funds once there’s going to be a listing at that price or below.”

Happened to me too awhile ago. Why has anet not fixed this yet i dont know, maybe they dont read bugs forums.

You’ve done a good job highlighting the issue affecting the TP. However, you will need to create a support ticket if you want ANet to address the ~5g you expected to receive.

I had this happen to me too. Looted a Scepter of the Highborn, sold it and continued selling some rare sigils. I then saw that it had sold for about 3s like one of the sigils. It showed I sold the scepter for 3s instead of 2g or so and the sigil was gone with no trace of selling.
