I bought a Masters Training Manual in LA yesterday, with a view to doing a trait reset for my Guardian (lvl54). I have tried all manner of things to get it to work, but it’s having none of it! I have double clicked it, menu/use, logged in and out, put on another toon and taken it back and today even bought the adept book (which has same issue) again to see if I needed to use both books again!
I didn’t have any problem when leveling using both of the books, it’s just now to do a full reset.
It seems pretty pointless for me to get to 60 and find that the Grandmaster book is the same, and I am pretty much screwed.
Anybody have any ideas? Or experiencing this issue?
I have currently rolled a warrior to get to Adept Manual and see if it’s all my toons affected or just the one.

Training manual not reseting Traits
I am having the same issue. I have submitted it as a bug. I am now full level 80 and wanted to do a reset of skills but didn’t plan on spending more than 20 in any one category.
Don’t you just talk with your profession trainer and ask him to reset for a fee?
AFAIK the books are one-time only to unlock tiers.
Yeah, just talk to the trainer and he’ll have an option to reset your traits for around 3s.
That being said. Don’t get rid of your books, I think you can give them to alt characters.
Also, I think the books should allow us to reset traits outside of cities. That would be cool.
Yeah dont get rid of your books! Just like everyone else said talk to the trainers and you can reset for a few silver.
