The hero point exclamation mark keeps popping up on mapchange. I’ve put points into some categories, but I haven’t unlocked everything (because I don’t use everything). Opening the Training tab in my Hero panel makes it disappear, but it reappears on mapchange.

I too am having this bug. Every time I log in or change maps, red exclamation point appears. If I click on the training tab it goes away again,but this must be done each time.Character is level 80 with all points unlocked but still getting the warning.

Can confirm, got this bug after the most recent update. Have all skills and specs learned, reappears after each map change.

I have this appearing too. I noticed after the first patch yesterday that I had the warning mark on the training panel, and when I opened it none of my hero points were allocated, but I think this was just a UI bug because I had all my skills and utilities still present. Then after the second patch yesterday all my hero points were allocated but the exclamation mark has remained.

I can confirm this also, i got everything unlocked and still get an exclamation mark.

It was happening to me last night in the same map, a Teq map that started filling early as they tend to do. It’s not game-breaking by any means, but annoying hero panel bug is annoying.

I am having this issue too.

I have the same issue, it’s very annoying and distracting. All my characters have all traits and skills unlockd.

Got this as well, immediately after recent patches. Only happens on my Elementalist.

Pretty annoying indeed. It happens whenever I waypoint, either same map or not.

Yeah, it happens a lot on my necros. It’s kinda annoying.

Of course it pops up, it’s a new feature. It has to be a feature. A bug like this that just jumps in your face would have been detected by QA, right? RIGHT?

Yep. I don’t have a Ranger or Necro, but I can confirm the others.

In the first skill line, and only in the first skill line, of each character with this problem, the circle is not complete, although all skills are unlocked.

It’s driving me insane. Happening on a guardian, warrior is fine.

When logging into my main character I always get the red “!” on the training icon, even if I have all the skills and traits already unlocked.
It also occurs every time I change map.

It disappears when I click on it and reappears when relogging or teleporting.

Still no solution? It’s driving me mad.

I think that all the people who logged in during the infamous patch is having this.
It’s probably caused by the fact that training was reset and now is full again.

I have the next problem, which makes me go crazy. After the patch my Training staff (skills traits), did not reset and i get Exclamation Mark All the time i WayPoint. Even if i open the training tab and close it once i way point or change the zone the " ! " appears again on my Training tab. Can you fix it please i’m getting crazy cause it’s .. annoying to get it all the time.

I too have this problem only on my main character. On my others it doesn’t happen.

Any time I die or change maps the “!” always re-appears. I have all skill and traits unlocked, so can’t spend shards any more. The big trait circle almost fills up, then it stops at the last skill, and completes a full circle.

for the past few days i have noticed that everytime i log in i get a “!” popup marker in my hero panel on the Training tab, it happens everytime i log in, doesn’t mather if its a fresh log in or a relog. The reason why its so weird to me is because i have on my main leveled all of my training lines to full and have 210 hero points left and it seems to only happen on that one char (elementalist). I am attaching photos as proof. I cannot say exactly on what day this started happening as i was not logging in reguraly during the past few days but i can say for 100% that it has happened today (thursday) and yesterday (wednesday) and im fairly sure i has happened on tuesday aswell.

yea just realized it only affects my main character which is probably because I logged in with him after the patch.

Edit: NVM it affects some of the other character as well.

Yep i get it on my Guardian even though everything is unlocked.
Also don’t even have to do a map change,it seems after a few mins it reappears.

Same issue on my L80 Ele. I have everything unlocked, and I get an training exclamation mark which returns after some time and/or map change.

Not actually, I have only logged in after the patch which fixed the reset issue and i’m getting this exclamation mark every time I waypoint.

Having this as well, only on my main character. Happens every map change as well as just randomly sometimes when logged in on the same map for a while.

Everything is unlocked on that character.

Just adding my voice. I’m getting this on my characters as well. The only one I haven’t noticed it on (that I’ve played in recent days, that is) is my Ranger, but I’ve got her parked in PvP, so maybe that has something to do with it.

FWIW, I was not logged on before or during the patch, only after.

Every time I map or gain a level on most of my characters, I get a notice on the Hero Icon on the top left that there is a notice. Opening the Hero Pane and Training shows the notice. But when I open training, and cycle through every tab, even though I already purchased ALL of the skills, it clears when I go into the panel, but as soon as I gain a lvl or zone, I get the notice again. There is nothing left to buy, the game even shows 100%.

I’m going to pull out my tin foil hat for this one and say that all the classes where the exclamation show up are ones that have their elite specializations announced, so maybe there is a hidden elite specialization trait line that the game thinks we haven’t spent points in. Elite Specialization in next beta confirmed?!

I have the same problem. All on characters who are level 80 with all their specialisations and core skills unlocked, and while it goes away if I open that tab, it’ll reappear whenever I WP, relog, or view the world map.

Same here. it makes my OCD alarm ring: everything should be clean! xD

It’s not a bug. It’s a feature. You have indeed something not unlcoked on those four professions: Mesmer, Necromancer, Guardian and Elementalist.
It is our new specialisations that are hidden from our view (Chronomancer, Reaper, Dragonhunter, Tempest).

Does anyone else have the Hero panel icon always showing an Alert? I clicked on it and it shows the Training tab has an alert too. This is an old and maxed out character, why on earth would I care to see this? I hope to heck this isn’t set as some perma-alert every time I zone in or way point.

I also have this on some chars. All trained to 100% but still an alert everytime I zone or log into the game.

It’s def a bug one way or the other, since it doesn’t happen on all characters. Just one of my alts

I’ve asked our QA Team leads about this, as I know you’d like to know more. Is it a bug? Is it a feature? Time will tell and we’ll post an update when we have more info.

Maybe I’m mistaken but with that sentence you may have just confirmed some suspects :P

On thing that concerns me is that, along with this hero training notification bug, some people are claiming they now have only 213 hero points whereas before the patch they had upwards of 500 or more. I honestly do not know how many I had (it was a lot), but glancing at my hero point counter — I now have exactly 213. I honestly don’t know if I lost points. Here is one similar post:

Does anyone know if they lost hero points in addition to the display notification bug?

I don’t remember how many hero points I had before. Now I have 213 on my main with 100%map and all skills unlocked. Is that right?
