Hazards like lava seem to cause Blind to characters with the trait Blinding Ashes active.
Specific steps to reproduce:
- Grab elementalist and activate Fire Magic XIII: Blinding Ashes trait
- Jump into lava
- When you receive Burning-state you will also get Blind-state

Note: This does not happen when you get burned by an enemy (see last image).
