Guild Wars 2

I decided with the new update that I would go back and complete the Transfer Chaser achievement, as I had only completed the first two maps of it. Lornar’s Pass and Bloodtide Coast were fine, but I’ve reached a point where I cannot progress in Southsun Cove.

I spoke with the Elemental Sprite and received the special skill and timer buff, but none of the usual red/blue/green icons appear when I use the Sensor Tracking skill. My character performs the hand gestures, and the skill goes on cooldown, but the sound effect does not play and the icons do not appear anywhere around him. I have tried this multiple times (logging out and back in to clear buff and skill) and in different locations across the map, to no avail. I have made sure I am on flat terrain so that they are not hidden, and even used the skill in the water just to be sure.

Please help me with this bug, as I really want to complete the achievement before it leaves Current Events and becomes unavailable.
