Guild Wars 2

Hello!

I am playing elementalist & I kept the head armor you receive at the beginning of the game (When you choose your favourite element). I picked air so I received the “Storm Eye, Defense: 5, no lvl req.”
I finished my last piece of the nightmare dungeon armor yesterday. The head armor is really ugly, so now keeping the storm eye actually made sense. I transmuted both items but now the skin of my loved item just disappeared. I am wearing nothing on my head….. Also I wasted a fine transmutation stone…..

Is there any way to fix this? Can I at least get my transmutation stone back?

This is a well-known bug for all the elemenalist starter head pieces. Unfortunately it still doesn’t seem to be fixed although it was reported by many players right after game release.

oh ok thanks for the info! I guess that means waiting until they have time to fix it….

I wish I had known this before I transmuted my Storm Eye and now it’s no longer visible. Oh well, I guess I’ll keep it in my bank and not waste any more transmutation stones until it’s fixed.
