Why is this gamebreaking?

The best places to put trebs are places where the enemy can’t reach. That treb is aimed directly at the NE tower.

and situated far enough back that you charge it for the max range and it’ll hit the door, rather than leave it to people to time when to release it.

The fact that one couldn’t place siege inside there own Citadel made very little sense to me. It doesn’t even affect balance because all 3 worlds have it equally. For immersion purposes, this should be allowed without any limits.

I say this even with knowing there’s a high probability the treb shown was pointed at my server

What if no player who is in their own home borderland could be killed. That wouldn’t affect balance because all 3 worlds have it equally. Would you find that acceptable?

You realize your analogy is completely broken, right? One slightly affects a small area, the other completely breaks the game. One, was how we used to play, the other is something we thankfully never had.

For having Treb’s in the citadel, it was how it used to be. It didn’t prevent the towers from falling. All it did was add a little more difficulty while making it easier to retake the towers.

The spawn area has a can’t build siege deployment blocked buff. It means any player in wvw shouldn’t be able to place a siege in the spawn area. I posted a picture where players continually build a treb in a place where players shouldn’t be able to build sieges. So, it means there is something wrong with it.

THe enemy can’t touch it. There is no counter attack to kill the treb. THat treb is forever there unless someone doesn’t tick it.

I find it worth fixing along with the party bug, and other things.

this is not true. the enemy could build a treb and shoot at that treb. it’ll take longer than the first treb takes to destroy the gate, but it’s not invulnerable.

reminds me of the fortress tower I destroyed a couple weeks ago. There’s a ruined bell tower south east of SM in EB. Our enemy server had built 2 trebs and an arrow cart at the top. That location is neigh impossible to get to. Easily classified as a jumping puzzle – similar to Grendich Gamble. If there is someone on the arrow cart, it’s impossible to get to it or hit them from below. You just have to go there when no one is there I felt so bad destroying those… the hard work that went into making it.
