Trebuches in safezone
I do Agree with you that it is a bad design. But.. the problem is not the siege weapons being there as we can take them out with long range attacks and our siege weapons on of our own…. The problem is that the enemies can just stand in their “Safe Zone” and attack us with we take theirs out. This means we cannot Thin their numbers where they can thin ours out.. Crystal desert had a stand still for 4hrs just because of that we could defend but we couldn’t take out the siege due to gate of madness all bunching up just at the invulnerable zone. which we couldn’t do anything about. This seems Too much an unfair advantage. I’m all for siege weapons being built at “Hard to reach places” just not when we can’t fight back.

The point of long range siege weapons is to not have absolutely any possible means to take them down thus giving 1 team a free win?
and how they build them there? there must be a way how to get there and destroy them… and at the other hand, if a weapon can shoot at a place, you can shoot with another one from that place back… fact that its hard to get there or something like that is just a strategic point isnt?
They build them there, from the safezone where no one can get to. If u try to go all around u will see either a gate that u can’t pass or some “legendary defender” npc guards that 1 hit kill u. Also remember that all players that sit a few pixes behind are invulnerable (by game design). So even if we do get in that area by some hacks…a group of invulnerable defenders will take us down.
Sure..try building siege weapons to counter an already built one. It’s so easy to target sieges that are in building stage…by the time it finishes it has some damage on it. The fact it has damage on it vs a siege that is at full..guess which wins.
Seriously..all u do is defend an exploit by definition. Considering u are giving me advice on how to “get” there and destroy it clearly shows me u are not aware of how that zone even works. I suggest u go outside that marked zone…and try for yourself to go to that invulnerable hill.

Afaik you should have “Siege deployment disabled” thingy when you were in safe zone. Seems it gets buggy
The entire WvW zones got huge problems like this. Treb/catapults from unreachable safezones that applies immunity to damage for the players. But also the concept of shooting between keeps/towers. The borderland maps are specially messed up.
if its in some place which is reachable only from respawn which is guarded by legendary defender and players have there immunity to dmg, then its probably bug and i was wrong but in picture you have posted, it seems to be a fair place…
