When I have my turrets out, after so many minutes, the turret placement skill returns, and I can no longer detonate the turret, or use the overcharging skills. See screenshots below:

Was this fixed? I’m not willing to level up a character to see if it was.

They implemented a 5-minute lifetime for Engineer Turrets. Probably related to this issue (though I’m not sure what effect this actually had) more than anything.

Yes, it was changed, as per Anymras’s description. Among other things, this meant that engineers could no longer drop turrets in a safe spot and afk.
