1. Lob (keg skill 2) is bugged so that players can throw it as far as they want. I can’t find the thread right now, but I read somewhere on the forums and Anet representative said that this is a bug, and exploiting that bug is considered cheating. Also, it’s completely game breaking.

2. The other bug isn’t game breaking, but it is preventing new players from wanting to play. When the keg skills were changed, the tutorial keg skills in Hoelbrak were not changed, so now they don’t match up.

I loved Keg Brawl but it’s gotten to the point where only a few people play regularly, and most of them just lob the kegs straight to the goal as soon as they appear. I try not to use the lob since it was declared to be cheating, but that makes matches very unbalanced and no longer fun.

Lob is cheating? o.O

I think the fact that the camera angle affects the throw distance is an interesting mechanic for the skill…and using it that way has enough downsides that calling it cheating seems odd to me.

Now, being able to score on the wrong side of the field, THAT was cheating!

EDIT: I read one of the other threads, I didn’t realize there was a bug with Lob in mid-air, which does sound like cheating.

Possible 3rd bug: It seems that guardian virtues remain active during keg brawl. These should be disabled so guardians don’t get to block extra attacks.

Will we ever get a Keg Brawl fix patch?

Can we at least get an official response to which I can point people who don’t believe that the “long lob” is an exploit?
