I notice this the most when I die in water, or when I’m in Celestial Avatar form and get downed/killed. The icon will explode to about 3x its normal size.

It persists through using Celestial Avatar. Relogging to character screen fixes it. I’m pretty sure that changing maps also fixes it, but I need to confirm.

Hey I just want to say that the Celestial Avatar Sign is oversized very often recently,
at the begin i only had it in the Guild Hall,
but since yesterday I have it in every pvp-match and it only disappears if the avatar is used .

You didn’t mention how you triggered it, but this will happen any time you waypoint within the same map while under water.

It’s just appearing for me if i join a PvP-Match I don’t need to trigger it XD
Well it’s not after joining the Map it’s after I got teleported back at the beginn of a match after the 1 minute is over and it’s starts

I can confirm that this bug has not been fixed yet (See attachment below).

This “bug” is extremely annoying and messes me up all the time, especially in spvp. I’ve noticed that it only happens when a match starts. Other than that, I’ve never seen that bug. I’ve tried restarting, re-logging, and what not, but that didn’t do a thing.

I hope that Anet will get to this bug ASAP.

its annoying becouse you cant see the dodge bar, and cover the CA bar also.. but who care … anet ? nope

I play with my interface set at extra large. I noticed whenever i spec to druid my F5 icon is gigantic! see picture for reference. If my interface is on small, normal, or large it seems to be fine.

I play on a normal interface, and I have this issue occasionally. Not sure what causes it, but activating and then deactivating celestial avatar form fixes it.

I have this bug aswell, it’s super annoying. In sPvP it becomes big in the start of the match, and you have to either use the ability, or die for it to becomes normal again.

+1 pls fix this.

I got it when I left the Charr Mini Car (Drone Race) adventure transform.

I encounter this bug at the start of PvP game and it goes away when I use celestial avatar. It’s really annoying because I dont know how much endurance I have.

Please see attached image. The icon resizes to its correct size after respawning from dying though. It is just a little annoying when entering pvp match that I cannot see the energy bar. Only happens when entering pvp maps.

It happens less frequently in PvE and presumably WvW (although I haven’t played ranger much there, so wouldn’t know). It happens most days in PvP

this is driving me bonkers, at the moment as i cant manage my AF on my first fight its getting me killed not knowing how much longer until AF is ready

It’s not just in PvP. It super sucks in PvP for sure.

The giant button also happens anytime you leave a transformation. I’ve also seen it happen when you swim underwater.

I don’t know if it happens if you use a golem or something in WvW as I haven’t done WvW in forever, but it probably happens there too.

It’s been a rare bug since HoT launched, but now that it’s more common maybe they can figure out what’s causing it.

I’m having a problem with my Celestial Avatar skill icon.

It seems that whenever i use a tonic or anything else that makes this icon disappear it enlarges and covers my endurance meter after it appears again.

Sometimes my celestial avatar icon becomes super big. Usually after some transformation of some kind where i get new/no skills, like after a guild race or after Matthias has sacrificed me.

This also keeps happening to me.

I tried clearing all caches I could find and deleting the Coherent UI files, but it keeps happening.

It impacts my game as some skills are blocked.

It also happens underwater to other skills now.

Guess we’re speaking to air here.

We know it’s a “known issue” but it impacts OUR gameplay and has since it cropped up.

Maybe the fix is having separate updates for every single profession so they can be rolled back if something like this occurs to anyone.

just unlocked druid and this big skill is in that spot for me now too. is there any way to move this skill to a better spot?

I have the same issue, it appears every start of the match and goes away after 1st use.

The celestial avatar icon is broken on druid. The icon becomes very big and shifts off to the left a little. This bug is caused when you enter a transform and leave or when a PvP match starts. The icon returns to normal once you enter celestial avatar form.

Screenshot attached, its pretty crazy when you see it the first time.

Just remove that Square Icon alltogether…. Can’t be that hard. The blue bar will still be there. Its not that we have a square shaped Icon to describe what the yellow bar for dodging is….

Ranger: When equipping or reequipping the Druid specialization the icon for Celestial Avatar becomes displaced and over sized
Status: “Investigating” = we are aware of the issue, but haven’t yet found a fix for it.

I hope the Devs realize it isn’t only when equipping or re-equipping the Druid specialization. It happens at any time; I’m not sure what all causes the icon to enlarge.

Also happens when you get caught in an egg at Gorseval.

That counts as “reequpping” (at least, in terms of game mechanics) — in a transformed state, your character isn’t a druid.

Very annoying bug. I hope a fix is coming with this update.
