Guild Wars 2

I’me unable to join any party in any dungeon, everytime I go to the area, I get a message, “would you like to join your party in a dungeon”, I hit Yes, the window closes and I sit outside. I’ve tried leaving the party and rejoining, nothing, I’ve tried restarting guild wars 2, nothing, I’ve tried both, nothing, I’ve tried swapping characters, nothing. Its been like this for about 2 weeks now. One time I did manage to join a dungeon group, but the entire run all I did was disconnect and ended up being booted. I would really like some help or have this issue fixed.

Are you getting horrible lag in the open world areas? I don’t mean the actual numbers when you try to ping the game servers, see below. A friend has been getting that since several patches ago at specific times of the day(near reset). If he creates a dungeon instance other people can’t get in and if other people creates it he has trouble getting in. Even if he does get it the lag is even worse than the outside.

What is really strange is that his ping is actually MUCH better than mine. Where he gets 8ms I get 80ms, where he gets 100ms get 150ms. We live in the same city(but use a different ISP) and play on the same server. In fact that has happened while he was standing right next to me on the same map.

Does it make any difference if you try to walk in through the dungeon entrance?

Very little lag during normal gameplay, sometimes I get a bit of lag when activating skills, but thats about it. When I start the instance (hard to do as CoF/CoE is almost always contested) its perfectly fine.
