The game crash nearly everytime I try to log a character, or crash after I try to change for an other map.

Same here, i can login and select a character, but unable to join the game (map join).
Error Code=42:4:11:310:101

Before i got this error and disconnect, did see notifications when change the map: “client is unable to gain access to the log-in server”.

Solved . I can login now.

Similar issue here. About 2-3 hours ago noticed switching areas was glitchy. I was doing the watchtower event and often was being met with errors about the log-in server being inaccessible or the countdown would reach 0 and I’d still be sitting in the lobby waiting for the next game to start and would have to log to the character select screen to get booted out. My last attempt resulted in the game crashing to desktop about the log-in servers being down and it’s a chance I can log back in again.

same here can’t select character

Same here in my case i can´t use any character located in Lions Arch that is 9 chars out of 12… they display as 0% map explored and they have lots of %… It will simply not load that area and it´s been like this for almost 5 hours.

solved – i tried it serveral times (HoT-Character then ‘old’ character) and it worked

egularly can’t change from any zone happening both from uk and germany (party members) login server error message ingame

same problem. already open a ticket about it. at star I just can log in a few characters others give me instantly error. after a while the ones I can log in cant change map

i cannot connect with my main, currently at verdant brink.

I cannot log in with characters stationed in heart of the mists either.

My characters in divinity’s reach and fireheart rise don’t have trouble logging in, and i can access the citadel of farm without trouble.

The problem is happening sporadically. I got to do a fractal earlier; I tried to join a new instance but got 42:4:11:310:101, now I can’t get on a character, getting 42:4:11:310:101.

Characters in LA, heart of the mists and the Mad kings lab all crash the client.

Only had one character in DR I could access. However Once in the game it seems to let me load the other characters after.

Hey, adding my voice. French here, and we have similar issues, but with a different error code, if that helps. 42:5:18:1540:101
Same problems, error message when trying to WP from lion’s arch, and that’s when I can log with a character at all.

Also getting the code=42:4:11:310:101 message, when using waypoints or trying to log in with my character. Sometimes I can change zone/log in, sometimes not.

I get “Network error .”

Same. Loading for 1 minute, then get the error and the game shuts off.

Having the same problem.

Can not login with at least 2 of my characters since latest patch.
Another is in mad kings labyrinth and another is in lions arch.
Getting Network error (Code=1083:5:7:1595:101)

I can login with my character which is located in gendarran fields.

To elaborate, I can log in to the character selection screen, but when I choose a character to play, the game hangs at the map loading screen until the network connection apparently times out.

A fellow player who is in a different state and on a different ISP is reporting the same problem.

The forums now take a very long time to load, and all of this happened after the latest update which pushed around 0215 UTC.

Same here, can’t load maps but I’m seen in game as being online and forums are infuriatingly slow.

Same here just sits on loading screen the “Network Error”.

Weirdness on my end too. The character select will load up fine, but when attempting to load on to a character, it moves on to a loading screen and sits there for a while before an error pops up. I also attempted to make a new character. This causes everything to go black, with only your cursor showing. In none of these instances did my task manager say that the game was not responding.

It took me forever to log on here too and I’d imagine it’ll be awhile before this post goes through. Everything on the forums is running slow, as people have already said. Before successfully logging in, I got this error: Login Error: Portal returned error: invalid_grant: Grant is expired or revoked {"error":“invalid_grant”,“error_description”:“Grant is expired or revoked”,“text”:"ErrSessionNotFound"} — l_c.rb 95 (fangamer:-1).

Hopefully everything runs smoothly soon. DdoS attack?

Me as well, getting this error code 1083:5:7:1595:101

I’m able to log on now. I tried 2 of my characters, won’t bother trying others since I only really play those 2 as of right now.

EDIT: Played a bit on my elementalist, then teleported to an instance(was exploring in SoD; Fort Trinity), and now I’m back at being stuck at loading screens.

Same issue as reported above, can get to character select, but attempting to load in results in a load screen until a network timeout occurs, which relaunches the client. All of my guildies that are in Teamspeak are having the same issue. Forums also take a very long time to load.

I haven’t been able to log in for two hours. I’m not happy — it’s taken me 45 minutes just to dance around on the forum because it’s been so cripplingly slow.
I logged off to do the most recent build and was unable to log back in. It tells me I’m unable to connect and to check my internet connection. I’m on here, obviously my net is fine.
I thought perhaps it was because I left my Mesmer in PvP and the servers were getting full. Nope. I can’t even log into Queensdale on my Necro. Please fix this.

So frustrating! I finally get some time to play and the game won’t load. It keeps timing out with Network Error: Code=1083:5:7:1595:101. And whatever is causing this seems to be affecting the forums as well. It took quite a while to log in here and get this posted.

+4 people to that list. Forums are slow, I had a bunch off issues loging into them… Seems like the server is in pain.

Having the same issue as most people here. I cannot log unto certain maps without getting a network error. The only maps I was able to get on so far were Lion’s Arch and Heart of the Mists. The forums are also running slow for me as well. Hope this will be resolved soon.

I wonder if ArenaNet actually tests these patches before going live.

Likewise, I can select a character after waiting for a long time for it to load… But when it tries to load a map, I get..

I am surfing the web right now and my firewall isn’t blocking the game.

System specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
Processor: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor
Memory: 16 GB Ram
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

Same as above issues, and the 1083 so on above is same error code Im getting.
