Thought my guild chat was dead after the update. went to go kill teq and have been getting that network error since. I found all of my guildies on their TS channel “complaining about the update” lol awsome

Chris Cleary (anet dev) posted on reddit that the team was aware and is working on a fix. As I type this, some people are in without issue, some are in without being able to change maps easily, and most are seemingly unable to get in.

Personally, I’m taking a break for an hour and crossing my fingers that all will be well when I return.

Same issue here, either cant log in cause stuck at the city splash screen OR I get logged then try a waypoint and get stuck that city splashscreen.

Hope they’re working on it or rolling back last patch. Something. Completely unplayable atm. On teamspeak with guildmembers. Nobody can get farther then the Character Select screen.

The toons just don’t load into their respective maps.

Iam having the same problem. I have been playing al evening and then they did the update patch thats when I started having the problem. Now I am getting Please check your internet connection and try again (code=1083:5:7:1595:101).

might not work for everyone, but running the -repair on client has fixed this issue for me.

Same here , Internet is working fine. characters are in Lions arch (3 of them) 1 in queensdale, 1 in the shaterrers area. tried the repair fix .. didnt work.

same :( can’t log in to any of my character except for my ranger, which still stuck in the story and unable to get out, i try to of to Heart of Mist to get out of the story (HOT) and it didn’t load :O
It loaded the character page but whenever i picked a character, the map loaded for about 1 min and then the network error pop up :/

Same here. Wanted to a quick teq before going to sleep… thank the genius that thought expansion and event should be released the same day… we’ve had countless patchs and game is still unplayable.

create a shortcut then on the properties option on target after gw2.exe" -repair

run that shortcut after

Same issue as everyone else here.
-Maploadinfo suffix will show me that no textures load at all, it all stays at 0% and the status is State_Server_Wait.

Stuck like that for about a minute then gives the internet connection error.

Yeah, it’s broken. Get to character select screen, then a helpful “Check your network connection” message because the problem is always on our end, right?

Same here. hopefully they are aware and working on it….

After this last update I can only load into maps on any character about once out of every 6 times, then when I manage to get onto a map and then try to go to another one it loads forever, or it loads for a couple of minutes and then gives me a an error code 1083. I am also having problems loading the website too.

My issue is similar but not quite the same. Can initially load a character but after a couple of map changes it sits on the loading screen. Apparently if i’m patient enough (not gonna happen) i’ll get an error code? If i shut down the game client, re-login and select the character it sometimes loads the map i was trying to get into, and others reverts back to the map i was leaving and fails to load that map.

My roommate can log in and play just fine, but I can’t. Network problems my donkey. Glad to see its not just me.

Anybody else having trouble loading the game or loading new areas once in the game? My game keeps crashing after this new build.

Same here. I can get to character select, but once I try to load a character it spins on the map load screen and then dies.

I can load LA I cannot load into MK Lab or just about anywhere else. otherwise its the same network connection error, after what seems to be the standard 2 minute timeout disconnect

Yes, there are multiple threads about this issue in the first few forum topics.

Can’t get into any maps either. Seems they didn’t bother putting any of that xpack money into the QA budget.

Along with the constant crashing + no bladed armor top, me and my sister can’t log into GW2 past the log in character select screen. Anyone else experience this?

I was able to login to the launcher and connect to the character select screen; from there I cannot load any character.

Problem seemed to have resolved itself in some form as I posted this.

We got back in for a moment, then tried to load a story and it crashed again with “network error”. I think they need to roll back this latest “update”.

I also got in for about 7 minutes. Then got kicked and now I’m back here.

There are also a few friends of mine online right now who were experiencing the same thing but not anymore.

Loading screen just loads endlessly when i try to zone into my level 40 story line quest killer instinct.

Had the problem after the patch, then mysteriously succeeding in logging in after like the seventh try. But then tried moving from Maguuma to WvW and it crashed.

I finally managed to get in, but as soon as I wanted to change map, i got dc’ed again with the same internet connection error message.

Give us all that purchased HoT a free Bladed Top chest for all of these kittening bullkitten patches Anet. Same problem too btw.

I can’t even login into my main which stay at Field of Ruin last time i log out it said " Network Error "

I love being booted out and not being able to reconnect when my guild mate is beginning to tell me something very important.

As of right now, still happening. I get a message about network problems but my wireless is fine – as evidenced by me being able to come here to post this.
