ya i cant even load into any maps geting error (code=7:0:0990:101) so i hope it gets fixed

Nope. can log in but can’t go to map.

Same issue since yesterday around 10PM GMT in Belgium, no possibility to change map and today not even possible to select any character. Launcher starts fine, even updating whatever needed to be updated but then connection error.
Please solve and don’t pretend we ALL have anti virus or modem/router issues.

I still can’t load maps, a friend managed to get pass by port forwarding though, so thats a thought

I just tried and get the same error (code=1083:5:7:1595:101) as when the issues first started happening.

EDIT: As a side note, the forums no longer lag for me.

Currently all PvE is broken for me. Error code 1083:5:7:1595:101
Logging into character in Divinity’s Reach or Lion’s Arch or Labirynth instance gives exactly the same error.
Alt parked in PvP lobby loaded without any issues.

Network error code=1083:5:7:1595:101 =( fiance was able to get in though.

Maintance didn’t solve the problem for me, too. After Characterselection Network Error on all characters

Maintance didn’t solve any problem on my account. I’ve got disconnects in the game und even lost my chest for uncovering the map. Very frustrating right now.

Gave up trying to play last night after constant errors, woke up to a patch, now getting the above error once I get to character select. Tried repairing the client, and afterwards it took far longer than usual to even log in. Connection fine otherwise, so no issues on my end.

Edit: managed to load a character in after being stuck on the map loading screen for about 2 minutes; however had 0 ping, so the game was unplayable anyway.

Also, in the UK, playing on EU

Now you can log in, but maps are not loading when you choose a char. Then you get this err:

I can see from Harddrive activity that program is not loading the maps. No activity at all, usually when map loads, disk activity goes to 100%

Smaller issues he?
- failing to log in with most characters
- being able to log in with 1 character, brought back at the map entry despite previous location
- failing immediately when trying to go in WvW
- being able to log again, but failing again as soon as trying to change WvW map
- having the omniscient “router or firewall problem” error screen

Yes… Not being able to play AT ALL is quite minor…

Is it at all possible to revert the changes that went in with the patch that caused this I wonder?

I was just able to log in to Lion’s Arch after trying multiple times. Something worked for some, at least. I am sorry if you cannot get in.

After the last update today, I still get kicked out by the server if I’d try to port anywhere else from my current map. Now I’m stuck inside Mad King’s Lab. At least I am allowed to port within the map.

I have had no issues with the launch until now and as with everyone else I am getting the error code (1083:5:7:1595:101)

For everyone still experiencing a connection issue:

• Try closing your game completely and then loading it back up and giving it another try.

A character load attempt > close game > load again seems to be what fixes the problem for others still experiencing the issue.

It seems that a client restart is needed after patching for it to function normally again.

Does not work for me, unfortunately like many others I cannot load into any map without getting a “Network Error” message and the game crashing. Worked great before patch.

Just wanted to say this is the first time that I can recall that GW2 has been taken offline for emergency maintenance so props for the work everyone (and I’ve been playing since the headstart)! For such a large scale release it went incredibly smooth.

I’m unable to play right now too, I can log in just fine and get to the character selection screen but when I’m trying to load into the game I get an Error code 1083:5:7:1595:101, it’s been like that since the patch and the maintenance that happened overnight whilst I slept hasn’t done anything to help me.

Edit: Seems like I managed to get back on just now, but I’m not going to tempt fate.

Seems to be okay. I got on, completed a story segment in HoT and received achievements. Sooooo….thank you to the team that’s up late (or early) and working…so we can play. ;-)

Still same, network error when trying to load maps

So, I wasn’t having any problems until the emergency maintenance. I logged in fine, played several hours with map changes, switching between characters and everything normal.

After the servers came back, I was able to log in and play for a solid 30+ minutes in the same area I’d been in, no noticeable strangeness. Then I tried to change maps and the game crashed completely. I restarted the program and it tried to load but simply went black, my cursor kept flipping between an arrow and a hand, I couldn’t tab out to anything else, nor use the Windows key. I opened task manager, but couldn’t make anything respond, I could just look, and then I clicked back into GW2 after being unable to make it force quit, and it froze so badly I had to restart my entire machine.

After the reboot, I tried to restart the game again. I logged on and managed to get to the map load on the character I had been playing – who was apparently on the last map, pre-port – but it just cycled forever and then finally gave me a crash error message before kicking me back to the launcher. I didn’t even have time to write down the error message numbers. Tried to run it again and it froze my machine again in the same way as earlier – if I ctrl-alt-del’ed and tried to open Task Manager, I was able to tab between my programs I’d had open (Chrome, GW2, Task Mngr), but couldn’t do anything with them. This time I C-A-D’d and logged out, then logged back in, which closed everything, including GW2. I don’t want to play that game again, so I’m not going to try a fourth time.

I’m gonna give up on it for tonight and hope you folks work something out by tomorrow eve when I try to load it up again.

Received this error code: 1083:5:7:1595:101 after the new build while trying to load into the Jungle.

Client crashes in the middle of events are still annoying!

I’m not able to log in for the last 8 hours. Any ETA when the problem will be really fixed?
