After getting enough experience to unlock the Basic Glider Mastery, the text underneath the mastery reads “Need 0 more Master Points to master this ability.” I’ve tried to unlock it on multiple characters and nothing fixes it.

Aside from the game freezing every time I did something noteworthy (gold on event, gained a hero point, unlocked a waypoint, etc.). It was painful just getting exp to unlock gliding only to find out that it won’t let me unlock gliding at all!

Also, exp bar at the bottom is not accurately showing exp gains.

Hoping for a fix soon! I want to glide!!!

i see this problem in-game talks, reddit, unofficial and official forums. too many people affected and no response from the development team. i cant go throug history cuz need it to continue! so im stuck and my girldfriend is suffering “game crash” ( pc completely frozen ) when go to 1º map in magumma. when finish an event it crakittenOO MANY BUGS for a game RELEASED as “COMPLETE GAME”.
fix it pls. 2 account here sttoped just cuz bugs or bad optimization! near 20h with this problem.

I have this exact same issue, everytime I complete an objective the game crashes, much like truthseeker.2843

Using Windows 10 as it seems to be everyone who is experiencing the issue is.

Different number (4294967295) but still same problem. i had replay maguuma intro but nothing better… win7 x64 but apparently nothing to had with OS

People with this issue, which include me, have obviously tried to spend the mastery point, it won’t let us, it tells us we need a 32 bit unsigned integer worth of mastery points to unlock the mastery.

I’m having the exact same problem. I can’t progress anymore until this is fixed or it resolves itself.

I’m also unable to unlock glider basics. I have reached the 508k mastery XP and have 2 mastery points that I am unable to spend. Shows a message “Need 4,294,967, 295 more mastery points to master this ability”.
Has anyone found a solution yet?

I’ve got exactly the same issue. Already sent a detailed report off to support.

Torpis is my IGN on the affected character.

I think to replace take a char to 80 and do the first few missions in HOT then you’ll be bugged. I did the new missions just before the patch and then after patch I was bugged.

Just opened the story line for Thorns yesterday and am having the same issue for Shachal Tsayid on Devona’s Rest presently in the Verdant Brink.

She has 1 point to spend. Her exp bar is FULL. Her glider mastery bar is FULL. But there is NO check mark to the left of the Glider bar in the Mastery Panel, and it shows 0 needed to complete the Glider Basics mastery task – NO button or option is inter-actable.

Have not tried running another alt through the intro for Thorns but will try that next.

I tried an alt but ended up in the same situation Then I tried gaining a mastery point in Verdant Brink and that just bugged it to read over 4,000,000,000 points instead of zero.

I just got Heart Of Thorns today and I’m having the same problem, it tells me the exp bar is full and it appears that I should be able to unlock the mastery but it won’t allow me to put the point into the mastery. I’ve completed the beginning of the story and should be able to get it but can’t. I hope this gets fixed.

I having the same problem with the 4 billion+ points required.

wyldosis on Blacktide Same problem with it showing 0 mastery exp needed but unable to upgrade even with point available.

Sheiken Bladeweaver on Piken Square.. Got 508.000 XP out of 508.000 XP and it says I need 0 masterypoints to train the glider skill but I cant unlock it

Lots of other people posting there too with same problem, windows 7 here, bought HoT yesterday after the patch on a second account which I have had for a year. My first account which already had HoT runs fine (I am using the same client).

Seems to be people who bought HoT recently.

I preordered HoT a long time ago, but only recently came back to the game and I still have the problem. No matter which level 80 i try to get it on.
