For some reason the ability to buy gems or redeem codes in the gemstore [O] is disabled at the moment on both my GW2 client accounts.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yup. Been like this for more than an hour now.

I have this issue too, don’t know of any fix/reason though.

Lol, i just started playing a few days ago.. And decided to buy 800gems so i could get 100g, and start crafting.. But “An unexpected error occurred” … Sigh, i hope they fix it soon, CC or PayPal doesn’t work either..

it is a shame, i bought paysafe card today, came home and voila, can’t use it looks like arenanet doesn’t want our money guys i hope they fill fix it soon, i want to buy a gift for someone

I have 3 $25.00 gem cards bought from best buy after the payment maintenance to the TP on 4/9 i was able to click redeem and enter the codes. I kept getting invalid please check the code or enter the correct one, all 3 were entered 8-10 times now and still no gems and still getting what i said prior. this needs fixed i want my 6,000 gems or my $75.00 back.

I am still not able to purchase gems with a credit card.
Anyone aware of this issue or am I the only one still having issues?

I have been unable to purchase the amount of gems that I wanted (with credit card). Over the past 2 days I attempted 5 times without success. The credit card is valid and has been used for other purchases during the same period of time elsewhere and the information entered is correct (I’ve checked several times).

I read on another forum thread https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Unable-to-buy-gems/first#post4799989 that some people have been able to purchase by picking another gem amount from what they have purchased in the past, e.g. someone who usually purchases 8000 gems successfully buying 4000 gems instead. I tried this and indeed it worked for me although I only have half the gems I would have liked to have purchased.

Hopefully Arenanet can track down the problem quickly.

Same here, but an error occurs when selecting payment method, and the list is actually blank.

I am having the same issue for a few days now. Cannot buy any gems using Paypal or CC.

Paypal looks like it will complete but it never launches the paypal site. Flat you refuses to launch it when I try to buy the 100$ option. Sort of works when using the 50$ option but does not launch the PP window so can’t complete the transaction.
