Guild Wars 2

So for a while now I’ve been unable to cast the #5 skill on the staff for mesmers ‘Chaos Storm’. When I noticed it I thought it was a bug everybody had and would be fixed overnight. this has been going on since the release of the halloween event and today in WvW I noticed another mesmer use it so it would seem I’m the only person with this problem.
It’s not an issue with key bindings or my keyboard because I’m able to cast any other #5 skill with another weapon. I’ve tried clearing the gw2 cache, changing the fast casting settings, change my key bindings, using a diffrent staff.

Is there anybody else that has this issue or does anybody have any idea what might be the cause?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that absolutely nothing happens when I click the skill/hit the key. Staff doesn’t get unsheathed, the AoE marker doesn’t show up and the skills doesn’t cast.

Is it unlocked? There is a visual glitch where the weapon skills aren’t actually unlocked even though their skill icon looks “complete”.

I had already unlocked it.

I got the same issue with Necro Warhorn #5. It’s been like this for me for almost two months. I posted a thread about it yesterday but doesn’t seem like many have the same issue as us. Try it out in sPVP, mine works there but not in PVE/WvW.

Yep, does work in PvPs, I didn’t know that. I’m actually happy to know I’m not the only person to have this problem. :P

That fixed the problem thanx alot!
Weird how I hadn’t killed anything in a lv80 map for almost 2 months :p
