Guild Wars 2

I completed Tangled Paths, have the option to “Replay the Story”, next I need to “Check your mail, Regarding your Request” for Newly Awakened, Moments of Clarity to start Seed of Truth. However, I do not have a letter to start this quest, the last letter in my inbox is 1 day old entitled Awaiting Your Arrival from Logan Thackery.

I tried logging in and out of the game, changing maps, logging into a different toon…nothing works.

you can click on the previous story (Tangled Paths), click to reply that, then click the ‘quit this episode’. after that click on Seeds of Truth and click continue. it should resend you the mail.

I tried, and it did not work, I can skip ahead and get a letter for another quest, but cannot get a letter for this one

Try deleting a few of the older emails from previous story steps, relogging, and then try restarting the chapter. I’m not sure it’ll necessarily do anything, but it’s worth a try.

Thanks RoseofGilead, I tried that and it did not work. At this point I might just run back through the prior chapter, I hate to redo it all, but it might be the only way to get this resolved

OK, not sure what did it, but this is working now…which makes my day, because I am really liking this Asuran Elementalist

LWS2 is currently bugged in many of the story steps, or so it seems.

Real nice when you cannot proceed with content. I am always surprised how patches affect story missions for no apparent reason. There have been hundreds of incidents like that in the past.
