Yesterday when the trading post was bugged, I was told all buy clicks would go through and as I had clicked a few times I knew this would bankrupt me so i asked a guild friend to hold the coin for me to ensure I didnt lose all my gold

today I asked him to send the coin back to me and he could only send me 80 silver and now gets the message

“this transfer would exceed the total value allowed for new accounts , as you progress through the game you may transfer larger amount…..”

what can we do to fix this quickly?

I have this same problem. I went to transfer gold off of my friends account and was given this error message. Maybe it has something to do with if you log on at a different location? I was able to do this for days right up until today.

according to other forum goers " anet isnt responsible for holding your hand in these scenarios"

They posted no information, and don’t seem to readily care as long as it stops crime (rmt) but thats like burning an entire city’s banks down to protect them from being robbed…. so good luck.

It seems you have encountered the in game anti-bot/gold seller “protection”. When you make large transfers, it blocks any more since it thinks they are suspicious.

yeah its really annoying, slowly getting the coin back from my friend, support were useless, telling me to log a bug report
